

How to Vote
Election day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and the polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A valid ID will be needed in order to vote. Polling locations can be on the Iowa Secretary of State's website.
If you are not registered to vote, you can submit a voter registration form to the Marshall County Auditor’s Office before October 21. You may also register on election day at your polling location.
Beginning August 27, registered voters can receive a mailed absentee ballot by completing a request form and returning it to the county auditor's office. Mailed ballots will be sent out beginning October 16 and the final day to request a mailed ballot is October 21.
In-person absentee voting will be available at the Marshall County Election Center starting on October 16. This office is located at the old fire station, 107 S. 1st Avenue, in Marshalltown. Voting will be available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through November 4.
Marshall County residents also have the option to vote on Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 a.m, to 5:00 p.m. at the election center.
